Lesson 5: Presenting Your Book to the Reading Public

In lesson 4, we touched on the idea of how to present one’s book. It’s necessary to think about that during the writing and editing phase. But there are other aspects to the presentation of your book that are just as crucial. In this lesson, we will cover chapter names, cover design, interior formatting, and your author bio.

Chapter Names

Chapter names are important because people who are considering your book typically will look at the table of contents before purchasing. You want your chapter names to clue readers into the content, but you don’t want to spell everything out for them. Leave some room for their imagination.

Intrigue them.
